I don’t love Stefanski’s offense but he would be significantly better than Arthur Smith who is nightmare fuel.
Are we hating Arthur Smith for aesthetics? I know this Pittsburgh offense is pretty mid, but isn’t that kind of what we aspire to right now?

You are arguing this like modern defenses play to not give up a single yard. So much of the league plays very soft and/or safe until teams start getting into scoring range. There are easy opportunities to predict the look a defense is going to give you in those moments and have a very good idea of where your QB is going to go with the ball.
That may be true to a point, but defense's disguise coverages, blitz packages, and they adjust to the offensive alignment. There not stuck in cement out there. You think Kyler knows what the defense is doing before the snap? I have my doubts.

Kurt warner always talks about pre-snap and who a QB should be reading to tell them where the ball should go, or who should be open.

Are you posting this ironically? Because the QB plays a big part in this too.
Nope the HC and OC are on tape saying they don't know how to run an offense.

"Neither of us liked the play but we sent it in anyway."

Don't care about the QB at that point. Someone needs to go.

While I agree with your closing sentiment, the QB is definitely involved.
Sweet, learn how to run an effective offense becasue thats where it starts for me.

So far without Klayton Adams I haven't seen one.

We got to get rid of Gannon especially if we are trading Kyler. Gannon can not run an offense or develop a QB. We are beholden to the OC who if becomes a hot commodity will leave for a HC job.

That OC isn’t getting a HC job.

I didn’t say this & you know I didn’t say this. Why are you arguing against an invisible point? C’mon.

Read the statement above.

Of course you didn’t know what to say, you just wasted a bunch of text arguing against a point you know I didn’t make.

How did 5 others understood what I said, but not you?

Well this is always my point, so if you are arguing a different point I don't know what it was.

Sure, I'm not saying Kyler should be changing progressions on every play. But there are also clearly times on tape where his progressions are all wrong for what the defense is doing, and times where he tries to force his passes to those players.

And getting past his 2nd read is practically unheard of.

Ultimately the tape shows a tonne of open receivers most of the time. It shows we leave 50% of yards on the field. This is down to the QB, not the OC. that's not to say the OC is perfect, but I want to see him with his own QB.

Exactly!

If we are getting rid of the QB we have to have someone who can develop a QB and that aint JG.

Careful what you wish for because it aint so easy finding QBs and people who can develop them.

With Adams the run game was much more efficient

But the passing game was still lagging

OC or QB?

Both, but the OC may be limited to what he calls due to restrictions on the ability of the QB
JG let Adams walk out the door after seeing him operate for 2 seasons and kept BPB. Now Adams is OC for the Cowboys doing wonders up there while we are stuck with 2 dudes that don't know how to coach offenses.

That is extremely concerning.

You do know Adam’s does not call plays in Dallas, and he has never called plays in his career. If he replaced Petzig as offensive coordinator, who would call plays?

This is tired on many levels.

1. you have no idea what Adam's does.
2. The Cowboys have improved since he got there.
3. We have regressed since he left.
4. Obviously the guy here can't call plays as testified by him and JG.
5. What does the guy here actually do well?
