Gannon is expected to garner some interest around the league as a defensive coordinator but not so much as a head coach. His approach and hubris was often mocked and he wasn’t having any success for his team to bye into his persona. Plus, the Cardinals defense was regularly among the worst quartile of the league, so his forte wasn’t even a strong suit.
Now with Gannon gone, and QB Kyler Murray likely on the way out, the Cardinals are looking a bit overhaul this offseason.
Jonathan Gannon's tenure ends with a .294 winning percentage — that ranks 200th out of 207 coaches who coached at least 50 games.
