assuming things more or less stay the same on offense -- a new offensive staff is in all likelihood a requirement for Gannon to stay

there will be choices: Mike McDaniel from Miami, Zac Taylor from Cincy, etc

the issue will be: Gannon at that point will be squarely on the hotseat and said new OC's fate will rest on if they can make it work with Kyler. Not everyone will want to sign up for that -- better to go join McVay or Shanahan's staff and wait for the next opportunity

Careful suggesting those guys TC is sensative about actually talking about long term replacements.
