Now, how many of those receivers have had more productive careers than Zaven Collins and Isaiah Simmons? 25?

Would it shock you to know that 7 LBs have been taken in the top 12 between 2017 and 2022 and 4 of them became pro bowlers.

We just got REALLY unlucky

Most if not all of them would have been better than the player picked by the Arizona Football Cardinals in those drafts. Except Henry Ruggs.

Zaven Collins has an AV of 14 to-date. Isaiah Simmons has an AV of 19.

Corey Davis (5): 24
Mike Williams (7): 37
John Ross (9): 5 (What a scrub!)
DJ Moore (24): 37
Calvin Ridley (26): 25
Hollywood Brown (25): 24
Henry Ruggs (12): 8
Jerry Jeudy (15): 22
CeeDee Lamb (17): 50
Jalen Reagor (21): 7
Justin Jefferson (22): 46
Brandon Aiyuk (25): 37
Ja'Marr Chase (5): 33
Jaylen Waddle (6): 28
DeVonta Smith (10): 32
Kadarius Toney (20): 3 (LOL!!)
Rashod Bateman (27): 11

I don't really know what this list illustrated except that players taken high are more likely to be good and Keim is a dolt for drafting off ball linebackers.

It's looking more and more likely that 3 QB's will be taken in the first 3 picks, and the consensus is that MHJ is the best WR in the draft. We can't screw this up, right?

We won't this time ASUCHRIS! We're getting MJH and he's going to be a faster Larry Fitzgerald!

We're going to terrorize NFL defenses for years to come!

Hmmm... I'm guessing but I think maybe you're not super impressed by MJH's tape. You're not like, "wow".

I definitely find it impressive and won't be sad at all if we pick him. I am just pointing out there would be logic from a GM's standpoint to pass on an early WR, especially when guys like Legette will be there when you pick in round 2.

And Odunze is no slouch IMO

Right so if Harrison isn't blowing the doors off 2 guys in his own draft class, can we really use the term "generational"?

Again I will be happy if we get him but I won't be jumping off a cliff if we go in a different direction

Is Drake Maye starting to fall? If he falls out of the top 3 that's a problem for us at 4.

Four QBs were drafted in the top 12 of the 2018 NFL draft. Baker, Darnold, Allen, and Rosen. Two were drafted in 2019 -- Kyler and Daniel Jones.
