Suns are right back at it again tonight facing the Lakers. Both teams are on the second night of back-to-back games.

The Lakers (30-32) are coming off a 131-120 loss to the Bucks at home on Friday while the Suns (12-51) lost to the Pelicans 130-116.

Lakers should be motivated as they are still fighting for the 8th playoff spot in the West presently occupied by the Spurs.

The game will be televised on FSAZ. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

Duane Rankin feels the Suns compares to the Lakers minus Lebron.

Bad pass by Booker way outside to Ayton results in a turnover.

So far it's the Ayton and Oubre show for the Suns.

it's just so obvious this offense should go through Ayton. Even in games when it's not working. The season is a developmental one and he's the best offensive weapon who can get his own shot and draw doubles down low opening up shooters along the perimeter.

When Ayton gets the ball good things happen.

End of 1st quarter:

Suns 33 - Lakers 26

Lebron misses two free throw with time almost expired in the quarter.

No no no why would you make the #1 pick a 7 footer who scores at 60% a major part of the offense.

Matter fact I blame Ayton he’s just not aggressive enough calling for the ball

This is said during almost every game thread, but after the game is over, it completely goes the opposite. It’s bizarre.

Hero ball sets in I’m just waiting for Oubre to start chucking 3s

Ayton is getting good looks early. There will probably be a period where he does not get the ball where he needs it.

Except for Melton the Suns might be better off forgetting about the point guard position.

Play a shooter next to Booker.

Wow amazing to see Ayton get the tap-out from booker and actually dribble and drive to the rim from half court.

Johnson in foul trouble thank god

That 3rd foul call was BS. Was a total flop on that rebound by Rondo I think.

Johnson didn’t have inside position but the flop sold a non-call.

Anyone have an idea why Bender is getting burn now?

Warren and Jackson should be the Suns power forwards as I see it.

Since Warren is out Bender is getting more playing time. Still I think Jackson should start.

It could be a match-up thing.

I think that was the first superstar call Ayton has gotten all year. Lebron trying to argue.
