It could make him think the other way as well... that he was able to start a game as a freshman.

I'm uncertain about Daniels status.

It looks like Joey Yellen played injured. He had a nice game regardless.

Playing in his first college game, other than one penalty-ended snap two weeks ago, Yellen nearly brought ASU back from a 28-7 deficit at Sun Devil Stadium. Even though he hurt his shoulder taking a sack on ASU's third offensive play and "couldn't hardly throw the football," Likens said. "He just toughed it out the rest of the game.

"It was an unbelievable performance. I can't say enough about it."

I am sure he will consider it at the end of the year. He could also redshirt, and probably still get 2 years as a starter if Daniels leaves ASU early, which is likely.
