I know this is rhetorical because Ol Drew isn't going anywhere, but I'm jealous that teams (bad ones like us at that) find the performances by assistants in losses unacceptable. Shame that I'm jealous of those teams for identifying the problem and doing something about it. Carry on Birdgang.

It all came down to the 2024 draft. A huge haul that was supposed to make or break this team in 2025.

1. MHJ: Not visibly better than Michael Wilson at anything, Wilson now has as many 100 yard games as Marv.
2. Darius: Showing some improvement, but a JAG, performs like a 4th rounder
3. Max Melton - Shows some physical traits but cant be trusted, overall he would not see the field if SMB and Sterling were healthy
4. Benson: Bad injury luck, who knows
5. Isaiah Adams: Atrocious most times
6. Tip: Injured
7. Elijah Jones: Hakeem Butler level miss, will never see the field
8. DTD: Good player

8 picks through 104, exactly 1 guy that has made a positive difference for the team in 2025. No gems from the garbage picks either. This roster is thin and it shows.

I'm not excited at all about any potential coaching candidates, but it won't be surprising if Bidwill pulls the plug.
Should pull the plug on the guy making these picks!

This doesn’t get much press but with all due respect to the Bidwill family, maybe it’s time to pass the torch to a new owner and direction. After 93 years, a Super Bowl win is only a dream.

We’ve seen players, team assistants, coaches come and go but nothing has worked to achieve the ultimate goal, the Super Bowl. That’s what it’s all about, right??

If you fire someone you need to hire someone better. Who on the staff would you like to see as OC or DC? I would like to see new OL and DL coaches in the off season because both of those groups have regressed this season.

The cardinals did win the NFL championship in 1947.

As if there weren’t enough reasons to fire Gannon, at his post game hilarious comments of the week session, Gannon said he “loved” the decision to throw to Weaver. He apparently based this on Weaver being single covered. It appears Gannon is unfamiliar with how safeties on other teams cover passes. The Cards, of course, only use their safeties in single coverage. When Weaver ended up being double covered it apparently was a shock to both Gannon & JB. So which do you assume has the best chance of success; throwing 5 yards to a veteran being double covered or throwing 45 yards to a double covered Weaver. Fire Gannon!

This is his only real source of income and stature (if you can call it that). If he sells the team no more TV interviews or newspaper coverage.

Bidwill will only fire these guys if they’ll agree to forfeit their checks.

not a good look for the offensive coaching staff:

late in the game -- hit a double move to get you goal to go with the clock winding down. GOOD!

Mike Wilson......... spike /spins the ball and then realizes that he has to go get it-- GAH!

the offense sure doesnt look like its in a hurry to line up -- GAH

But instead of spiking, they run a play that didnt look well thought out. GAH

with 0:06 they kick to tie

with a vet QB, i would much rather spike the ball and get your best goal to go passing concept into the huddle and try to win the game. I think a spike could have saved enough time to run two passes to win the game.

True, but sometimes it's more about making a statement. The players, staff, and fans need to see that losing in this fashion is not going to be accepted. It's entirely plausible that nothing's going to change overnight for the Raiders or Giants, but I give them full credit for recognizing that acceptance of failure is contagious. I don't celebrate anybody being fired, but I promise I will laugh and drink a toast when JG allows his fealty to Petzing to cost him his job.

he kinda sucked also - his only success was due to Kurt

as for Gannon - he sounds like a POS Player Simp in all his loser quotes after clown show games. I don't think the players respect for fear him.... The Suns have already made the pathetic Cards an after thought before Thanksgiving... the more things change the more they stay the same

Good thing they passed on DeJean for him - seriously, getting hired by Bidwill literally makes someone dumber

I can unfortunately see a scenario where none of Monti, JG, Petzing, Rallis, or Rodgers are fired after this season. :help: Instead, Murray and some position coaches, notably offensive line coach Justin Frye, would be blamed for the awful season. :bang:

The fact that petzing wasn’t fired this morning shows that this team just doesn’t care anymore. It’s not even fun to watch players develop. If this team suffers from apathy at the coaching position- I’ll respond in kind. Checking out until this team makes some actual moves. Happy holidays yall
