Hey - thanks! Wow - i never even knew your gender or parental status until now - not that it matters to me. I thinks I am going to see some "psychedelic/soul" band @ Big Snow Buffalo Lodge in E. Williamsburg - but i will look into your suggestions, too. Last time i visited NYC, Brooklyn felt more like a place for me than the upper west side of Manhattan where my friend lives - it's all buttoned down and uptight there - I had the most fun and met friendly people in Brooklyn

I'm going to be visiting a friend in Manhattan May 30-June 4. I recall that you are into old school punk and wonder if there's a place in Brooklyn that i should look up to see some cool bands - noise, punk, weirdness.
