Suns will only have one of their first seven games nationally televised with the 8th game to be announced.

In comparison, the Pelicans will have six games nationally televised.

Unless Ayton ever develops a mean streak where he is looking to posterize everyone he faces the suns will not be a national draw. Even if they become good they won’t be a draw because they won’t have that single electric player. As good as book is, he’s not particularly exciting to watch.

We agree at this point in time.

I'm still hoping that Ayton will become that player. Also Booker has not topped out either. They may both may become electric or not.

I knew the Suns needed a third player (pillar) for them to build on. Sort of hoping Oubre could be that player but since the Suns didn't sign him to a multi-year contract they will probably have to choose between him or Bridges. I didn't want it to be that way.

I think only Ayton on the current roster has the physical ability to be that guy. Maybe lecque but he’s such a long shot.

I found this interesting tidbit about the players drafted before Devin Booker.

Markelle Fultz says going to Disney is going to feel like an AAU tournament -- "it's going to be a challenge and I think that's what's going to make it fun for me and some of my teammates ... but no fans, that's going to be a big difference."

By the way, all 22 teams are going to start doing daily (or close enough) Zoom calls until they get to Disney. So basically every question and answer is going to get tweeted nonstop, unless you're one of the outlets that teams will make special arrangements for.

The Suns would have to unseat a team for 8th place in the Western Conference.

With only 8 games to play the Suns are 6 games behind the 8th place Grizzlies in the loss column. It would be extremely unlikely for the Suns to be able to make up this ground.

The linked article below explains it better and what would have to happen.

I'm just going to kick back and watch basketball.

Unless the Suns do something dramatic I'm probably going view it like exhibition games or summer league.

Why don't you feel that way about our regular seasons? ;)

Everything season like Charlie Brown I expect to kick the football. I will feel the same next season.

I guess it's the cost of business being a Suns fan.
