Royce is better than I remember him being. Outstanding defense, makes all the right decisions. Hoping that Thad Young is as good as ONeale. I just hope that Beal is OK, and not out for too long.

Devin Booker is now second in points on the Suns all-time scoring list.

Beal was not limping when he went back to the locker room so hopefully it’s a mild injury.

He was listed as questionable due to an ankle issue headed into the game. May have been listed as probable. Im not pulling up the injury report again. Hopefully it was more of a precaution than actual injury. Like he tweaked it some because he was compensating for his ankle and the trainers said that's it.

Frank Vogel says Bradley Beal has a left ham strain. Here are some descriptions.

I was hoping for a Kenny, Chuck, and EJ post game since this was on TNT but this C team with Vince Carter, Candace Parker, and Jamal Crawford is awful. I'm not sure who the host is, he's a dumpy looking guy who dyes his hair too dark to be believable and by the looks of him there's no way he's been on a basketball court in decades. It's crazy how bad this crew is compared to the normal A team.

As much as we like to rag on Vogel, he won us the game today.

The reinsertion of Nurkic in the 4th to mix things up, going away from Bol in the 2nd half and bringing Little in, trusting JO and O'neale as a closing group, all these things contributed to the win. He had that long stretch without a timeout in the 4th but they were low on TOs because the early ones they had to take in the 3rd.

It was a breath of fresh air with Okogie and O'neale on defense. Watch them closely and you can see how much more solid the overall team defense is because of how much they help and recover. They definitely mask some of the mistakes by Allen and Gordon.

Vogel can adjust, if it's crucial to win the game. The most important change was the defensive attitude by Booker who didn't miss any assignment in this game. With that, our rotation, switching and recovery was in tact throughout. RO is a savvy vet with a calm influence and knows where to be and what to do, making the team more effective on both ends. JO needs more trust and time to make impact as he did greatly today. It's unfortunate that he missed 3 layups but he fought hard with Sabonis to enable Allen to collect the rebound on Booker's final FT miss. Vogel reinserted him for Little and Gordon for def. purpose, respectively late in the 4th. Little is still kinda lost on O, but his energy on D was good. As mentioned by others, his in-and-out decisions regarding Bol, Eubanks, Little were all sensible as adaptation to the game situation. Oh, Allen and Gordon played with more confidence too, maybe due to the not so good defense of the Kings.

Suns have lost only 1 time this season when Gordon scores 20 or more points.
