This is the 2nd time in 3 years that Gannon has lost 8 of 9.
And there are still some people who want to bring that guy back… for continuity sake.

Two seasons where he’s lost 8 of 9 games and ended the other losing 5 of 7.

Only a franchise drowning in utter failure decides to run that back for a fourth straight season.

Sadly , if we are going to sign the special teams coach from Northern Illinois University then he might as well stay.

So he’ll be here next year then

We’ve lost 8 of the last 9 games, yet his job security seems to be firmly intact. What gives? Even his demeanor in his postgame pressers seems to indicate he doesn’t feel any pressure from management. I guess the rumors are true, he really is safe no matter what.

They’re not going to fire him mid year. Nothing is going to change.

I’m convinced they aren’t firing him period. No other team rewards mediocrity like we do. I can’t believe he’s going to see a 4th season after 3 non winning seasons.

Heck Jacksonville fired Super Bowl winning Doug Pederson after 3 seasons, two of which were winning seasons, including a playoff berth.

For anyone who still wants to defend Gannon with some kind of “the close games show he hasn’t lost the team”, I’ll counter that after 3 years, he’s yet to FIND his team.

You can’t lose something you’ve never found. Three years later, this team is actually as much a joke as it was when he took it over. That’s failure. Period.
Exactly. Like what exactly is this team’s calling card?? What is it that this team hangs its proverbial hat on? What is the foundation that we can point to and say this is why we will win going forward? What are the cornerstones? Where’s the beef??

Slogans for JG. Which one's your favorite?

“We’re close…to the #1 pick.”
“Pew pew pew — there goes another season.”
“Flat Press Conferences. Flatter Offense.”
“Fire in the Gut, Dumpster on the Field.”
“JG Era: Moral Victories Only.”
“We’re gonna f-ing gut those guys…Cool. When? 2031?”
“Cardinals Football: All bark. No gutting.”
“Right guys in the locker room. Wrong results on Sundays.”
“We have the right guys in the locker room. Cool, do they play?”

It all came down to the 2024 draft. A huge haul that was supposed to make or break this team in 2025.

1. MHJ: Not visibly better than Michael Wilson at anything, Wilson now has as many 100 yard games as Marv.
2. Darius: Showing some improvement, but a JAG, performs like a 4th rounder
3. Max Melton - Shows some physical traits but cant be trusted, overall he would not see the field if SMB and Sterling were healthy
4. Benson: Bad injury luck, who knows
5. Isaiah Adams: Atrocious most times
6. Tip: Injured
7. Elijah Jones: Hakeem Butler level miss, will never see the field
8. DTD: Good player

8 picks through 104, exactly 1 guy that has made a positive difference for the team in 2025. No gems from the garbage picks either. This roster is thin and it shows.

I'm not excited at all about any potential coaching candidates, but it won't be surprising if Bidwill pulls the plug.

Tough sledding for a top pick this year. Titans, Jets, Raiders and Saints are locked into the top 4.

Raiders aren’t winning another game. That team is incredibly lifeless.

Bridgewater looked awful tonight, but if we lose to the Bucs next week, there is a very good chance we will lose 11 of 12. I don't know how you bring a coach back who lost 11 of 12.
