Hold onto the ball, Murray!

Lot of truth here, but the franchise just needs change at this point…expectations surely can’t get lower.Yeah we’re either going 2-10 or 1-11 with Brissett.
I understand many are ready to move on from K1, but if teams call our bluff thinking we’re going to cut him no matter what, thus leading to low ball offers (that is if teams make any offers at all), I think they do have to consider bringing him back at least for 1 more year, even if it’s to make cutting him for the 2027 season more affordable.
Shockingly to me, many here still want to keep Gannon, but logically I think his best chance of winning games next year is still with K1. (They aren’t winning games with Brissett or a rookie). So for those who are in favor of keeping Gannon, really you should be rooting for K1 to return as well because the alternatives are bleak for JG.
I'd say I can't believe someone on the board could come up with this, but they totally can!Oh, but didn't you know, Monti's first season "doesn't count"![]()
Yes, but what I didn’t know was JG’s first three seasons “don’t count”Oh, but didn't you know, Monti's first season "doesn't count"![]()
All of the close losses is the marketing for why Bidwill runs it back with both Monti and Gannon, but making other changes.Wilks got fired because that team was utterly non competitive.
Gannon could save his job if the fan base doesn’t completely turn on him. I said it at the beginning of the season and I still believe it: results of games decided by 7 point or less are random.
KC won like 12 games last year that were decided by a score. This season they can’t get a break and are like 1-6. Did Andy Reid forget how to coach?
Who are the many?Yeah we’re either going 2-10 or 1-11 with Brissett.

He needs to be gone alongside Monti.Yes, but what I didn’t know was JG’s first three seasons “don’t count”
Scapegoat is the wrong word.I talked to Jess Root today and his feeling is they will make Petzing and Kyler the scapegoats and keep everything else in place. As he pointed out, Petzing is in the last year of his deal so that is nothing significant. They are going to try and pump up Brissett as the next Palmer.
He also called this season "the biggest clown show" he has ever seen covering the Cardinals.
I think he has a five-year deal.Gannon, lame duck coach. Players who haven’t tuned out already will tune out. Unless JG gets secret extension
Hilarious, but okay players will definitely still listen to him nowI think he has a five-year deal.
They will listen until things go south. Once they know Gannon is gone then they will look to make business decisions to increase their splash plays.Hilarious, but okay players will definitely still listen to him now

But....the passing STATS! Can't you see the offense is SOOO much better? The team will probably end up going 2-10 with Brissett. How can Murray be a scapegoat if the team is that bad without him?![]()
To my eye, this has already happened. They will listen until things go south. Once they know Gannon is gone then they will look to make business decisions to increase their splash plays.
Not random. Random is Demarcado dropping the ball 1/10 second too soon.Wilks got fired because that team was utterly non competitive.

I should have tried that in college - hey, I know I screwed up this test, but it was the first time - can I keep taking until I get it right?Yes, but what I didn’t know was JG’s first three seasons “don’t count”
The three seasons don’t count because Kylersomewhere i saw a list of HCs with sub -500 records in their first three seasons that were retained
something like 10/11 didnt make .500 the next season and were fired. One eeked out a record above .500
why delay the inevitable?
I don't think the players believe Gannon will be fired. To my eye, this has already happened.
I suppose there is some 3D level chess story that has Monti telling Mike that due to Kylers contract, the team is basically stuck with him until 2025 and that they would make the best of it until then. The three seasons don’t count because Kyler
Skorp's last posts MUST BE LEFT UPMaybe we need to set the forum to automatically open to page 2 since we have an entire page of pinned posts....
Or start a separate forum for stickies only...to be filled only with posts mods move there from other forums.
Got half a page of crap I don't want to read at the top of page 1
I believe that is why we saw Brissett brought in. It’s the first REAL competition Murray ever had.I suppose there is some 3D level chess story that has Monti telling Mike that due to Kylers contract, the team is basically stuck with him until 2025 and that they would make the best of it until then.
if Kyler worked, great. If not, they move on.
It would explain why Monti has been careful with the cap space.
I also think that if that were the case, maybe you would have seen a QB get drafted last year --even if its like a Will Howard in the 6th
