Get out! The allegiance is voluntary.

it isn't tho Mulli.

The heart loves who the heart loves, full stop.

I would quit the Cardinals in a second if I could man, but I never will be able to. Not for as long as I live.

Even though, in terms of a girlfriend, the Cardinals are the equivalent of a heroin-addicted junkie that hits us up for money, and then goes and parties with her friends.

Sorry, but not even Vince Lombardi could coach a team with all the injuries that we’ve sustained this year. I create & analyze NFL injury reports for numerous platforms nationwide. No team in the NFL has had the number of injuries that we’ve had. Not even the Niners. People are wrong when they say that EVERY team has injuries. Some have many more that do impact success & failure. The Cardinals are one of those teams. We’ll see how the rest of this season plays out. The OL coach definitely needs to go though.

Is anyone else tiring of Gannon saying it’s all his fault but not offering a letter of resignation?
Sure, but what's the alternative? Should he point his fingers at the players or other coaches?! Use injuries as an excuse?

If he tenders his resignation (has that ever been done for performance reasons in the history of the NFL?!) who's going to take over?

What we're tired of is the losing, and Gannon's inability to right the ship. The coach speak is just... how coaches speak.

How many HCs do you expect Bidwill to pay? Seattle may very well win the Super Bowl. They are a very good team. The first fumble set them back 14 points. Down 14 points on the road to a very good team is next to impossible to overcome. Everyone is missing the point that the greatest achievement this season is that reality has finally set in after all these years and now it is consensus that Murray needs to stay away from the field. I thought he was a fraud from his gaming his pro day and the combine. With that recognition that they need a new QB the season is a success. No one expects Brissett to be the answer. He did franchise a huge service of showing that Murray wasnt the answer. However if you go on a week long bender there is bound to be a massive hangover. So it will take time to repair the Murray damage. The current coaching staff game plan was to prevent their QB's bad decisions from losing the game. Keep the ball out of his hands as much as possible. Who can succeed under those circumstances?

Getting whupped was expected... but our OLine has zero injuries, this is the line that Monti and Gannon designed for success. This is also the unit that got destroyed more than the injury impacted units yesterday.

Other GMs make moves when the roster isn't meeting expectations.

No one expected this massive dropoff from losing our OL coach. Messing up on replacing Klayton Adams is by far the biggest mistake. Klayton must just be a wizard, and I fear irreplaceable. All of our non Paris OL have been terrible in their careers when they didn't have Klayton as their coach. I haven't heard of an OL coach having that much of an impact before.

This isnt something you can fix midseason either, no one gives up halfway competent OL at the trade deadline.

Last year we had the #11 offense in the NFL in total yards. Right now, we are #19.

Defense, we had the #20 defense in the NFL in total yards. Right now, we are #20 in the NFL.

Special teams.... Blech. Only Ryland is actually NFL quality on FGs.

So, like I said earlier in the season, something went terribly wrong in the offseason on the offensive side of the ball. There is a lot better talent on defense on paper compared to the last two seasons. Yet, the results are not better. We are 2-3 with Kyler and 1-3 with Brissett, so it is not just the QB.

So, yeah, head coach has to get canned for a team getting worse instead of better when the team really did get more talented on the defensive side of the ball. His side of the ball.
Can't much argue with all of that! I will add to it by stating how infuriating it is to hear JG continue to call himself out, and not the players. While taking bullets on behalf of your team is admirable, it's also barf-inducing and IMHO, minimizes his effectiveness as a leader as I have no doubt there are dudes on the team who are giving it their all and playing well, who look at JG like, "WTF man??" "What will it take for you to hold players accountable?" If there was ever a time to make some sort of statement about the piss-poor play of the oline, of MHJ... it was yesterday! Instead, we get "It's all on me." "I need to do a better job of preparing the team." Eff that crap!

It’s not just Klayton Adams.. it’s also a full year of tape on Petz’s scheme. I throw out the year prior as you had a mixture of backups and then Kyler coming back from the injury. Last year is really the first full year you got to see what Petz scheme would be with a “full deck of cards”. Last year wasn’t a winning formula either… not sure who saw that offense and thought let’s run it back. If anything I thought the talent-less defense put us in position to win more games than the offense did in 2024.

They both needed talent upgrades for this season, but the offense also needed a scheme change.

Honestly would be an upgrade.
Would be better than having no chance at all.. and even though Commanders offense sucked this season no matter whose been at QB, it’s also more fun to watch

In 60+ years of following the Cards, this may be the strangest. The year started with me predicting the Cards would be a playoff contended. As things stand today they’ve lost two thirds of their games. They also just completed perhaps their worst game ever. They have had a stunning array of lingering injuries; however, they have a coach who week after week says it’s his fault they’re losing. Still, he has numerous defenders saying he should be retained. The defensive play is bizarre. To say it’s passive would be a monumental understatement. On offense, the team seemed until the last game to play better with the backup QB. Color me confused!

Are you new to this? HCs will rarely throw their players under the bus, understandably so.

How many bad ones can one owner hire? How about 1 year contracts? If someone was crazy enough to sign one, at least he’d be self confident.

LOL... hardly.

I'm not suggesting he throw players under the bus. That said, saying things along the lines of, "We need to play better upfront." Or, "We need to execute better." Along with, "I too need to find the ways to better prepare the team." Not throwing a player under the bus... just getting the point across that subpar execution and play will not be tolerated. Do so publicly amps up the accountability and frankly, if players are too fragile to deal with that, well...that would merely solidify the fact we have the wrong players on this bus.
Ariens seemed to understand this well.

When Bidwill brings Gannon and Monti back after the season, I will gladly stand witness to your moment of irrational rage.

I hope you are wrong on Gannon being retained. I guess it all will depend on the final record.
