How does okobo miss that last layup?

Okobo has a tendency to shoot the ball high off the backboard even on layups.

Also the Spurs are using their body contact to cause some of these misses.

Suddenly the Suns take a 32-30 lead. Rubio with some inspired play. Saric as well.

I think Frank may be on more posters than Lebron.

Man is this bad basketball.

mans this is why oubre isn’t a star. He needs to step up and be our leading scorer tonight. And he’s sucking.

The Suns shoot 3-pointers 1-for-8 in the 1st quarter
and are down by 10.

The thin air of Mexico City is worse than Denver.

But as Bridges pointed out, the Suns train in
Flagstaff, which is almost as high. He said that
should not be an excuse.
It to mention both teams have to play at this altitude and it’s not the spurs home court, so no advantage.

Thanks (really wasn’t seeking the mechanics of why, just incredulous that he missed a relatively basic nba layup).

Halftime:

Suns 48 - Spurs 44

Rubio with a nice half with 12 points and 4 assists.

If only the Suns could make free throws, 7-13 from the line.

A random thought. Bridges plays a lot like a power forward.

Rubio (16), Kaminsky (12) and Saric (10) are carrying the Suns.

Good showing so far. Hopefully the Spurs implode and make Derozan or Aldridge available

Wow. the Suns were up by 4 at the half, despite shooting field goals 19-49, 3-pointers 3-16 and free throws 7-13. And missing a lot of close-in shots.
The Spurs were 16-48 and 4-16. But they did shoot free throws 8-10

Here are the stats.

Aldridge didn't do too much. 4 points and 4 rebounds so far, more than midway through the 3rd quarter.

The Spurs have cut the Suns 10-point lead to 4. Who will step up near the end of the 4th quarter?

Spurs bench with 43 points. Suns bench only 18 points.

That's a 25 point difference.

Wow. The wave. When’s the last time you saw that at a basketball game?
