Any team in the NFL that loses its starting QB, starting LT, starting RT, and top two RB's to injuries is going to struggle.

All teams would struggle but this team has not had backup players step up nor has the front office done anything to make it better.

Here are my thoughts on what could of been done:

QB - really nothing - they didn't have much to start with and no good FA available.

RB - The front office dropped the ball here. They should of brought in someone. They can't expect LSH to be the short yardage back or full time back.

LT - no depth and poor coaching. Good left tackles don't get to free agency. There lack of drafting the last 5 years has caught up with them.

RT - same as LT

The last thing is play calling. They have done a poor at coaching guys up in the positions of need/help. Drafting Floyd was a terrible idea since they had so many other issues.

The Cards actually did better with their starting QB out. They didn't lose their starting RT he's been playing all season. The two RBs that are out were averaging 2.7 and 2.6 yards per carry. The Cards are losing because they suck at QB and the offensive line is terrible with 4 of the 5 guys they intended to start on the field. And mostly because they are the Cardinals and finding new and inventive ways to lose football games is what they do best.

Sure was fun for a while when the other teams were finding wild ways to lose to us.

My favorite example of Cardinal weirdness. 3 straight wins over Dallas all due to a snafu in the Cowboys kicking game. Blocked punt in OT. Missed Extra Point allows Cards to tie and win in OT and then last season when they iced their own kicker and missed a game winning FG. We may not win much but there is never a dull moment with Arizona football.

Not buying it.

The LT who was slated to play is no better then who is in there, IMO.

The "starting" QB is only a modicum better then who is in there, IMO.

Those two starting RB's are made of glass and got hurt as expected, IMO.

The harder, and more I look at the situation this offense sucked in Feb. and the only things these injuries going to do is prolong the pain.
