Looking forward to it, but I expect it fails to capture the charm of the 1st movie.


I expect a full-on Avengers type attempt, with manufactured humor thrown in, and its going to suck.

I have faith in James Gunn, the director. I don't see him letting that happen at all.

I had serious doubts that they could equal the first. But I think they did it, and perhaps even surpassed it. The humor is not forced, but it is there in spades. And some tears as well. Lengthy run-time but it didn't feel like it to me. Family loved it.

I thought it was great...definitely a good sequel. Lots of action and humor, as you would expect, and just fun to watch overall. Definitely worth watching. Didn't see it in 3D, but I can tell by several of the scenes that they were specifically for 3D, so might have to do that next.
