Went to the game last night. The Yotes were clearly the lesser talented team... but, their defense/forechecking and stick checking limited the number of quality shots the Caps were able to get off. It was impressive to watch.
This team doesn’t lack grit and toughness... Though, I’d say they’re still 2-3 key players away from being a legit Cup contender.
Raanta played better last night, but again, was hardly ever seriously challenged, even though the Caps out-shot the Yotes...

This game actually pisses me off. Where the hell was this effort against Ottawa? Play like that every game and we don't go on losing streaks like we have. There's really nothing worse than watching them take nights weeks off and then they wonder why we're losing faith.

Glad to see all those Caps fans leaving the arena with a sad face.
