The Cards are short on the D-Line but they are talking with Andre Branch. As a rotation player he fits the type of guys Keim has had success building into a decent line.

Bring him aboard, we need the depth & experience. What's up with Corey Peters? Didn't notice him in any of the OTA & mini camp videos.

Andre Branch would be a depth OLB signing behind Jones, Suggs, & Reed, so not sure how this would help D line depth.

I am surprised we haven't signed Domata Peko (NT). Veteran, leader, and solid grade from PFF.

For a second, I thought you were referring to Alan Branch and was about to go insane

If we're going to grab a branch, make sure it's not a "dead" branch that breaks off in our hands.

You mean the same Alan Branch who left here and went on to be on 2 Super Bowl winning teams?

Traded up to get him. Had a skateboarding tattoo. The “lightbulb” was supposed to come on in year 3.

I wonder how long it takes for them to sign a player if its been over 2 days?

Tre Boston took a couple of months last year. Players have an expectation of what they're worth, however the market determines it.

Branch would give them the option of rolling out an occasional 4-3 which they’ve successfully done in the past. I wouldn’t rule out them using him as a 3-4 DE in some passing situations as well but the OLB backup would be a plus.

Unless his attitude has changed, that’s a big NO to Andre Branch.
In Jax, he thought/acted/viewed himself as a superstar but had little production to back it up.

Maybe he’s been humbled and is willing to put the time and effort in now but that wasn’t the case in Jax.
