To much change and no offseason to prepare for it.

I think we get swept by the NFC-East (we rarely ever win on the road with an early kickoff - this year, 5 of 8 road games are early)

It's going to be BRUTAL on this web-site if we start the year at 1-6. (I think we'll be 2-5)

We'll finish the year with a nice run to get us jacked up for next year, but it will be against really bad teams. It'll also get us back into division title discussions - but I expect us to just fall short of the playoffs with another punch-line year for the NFC-W.

Go Cards!!!

Using Shane's format and a lot of his information. I'm not nearly as optimistic.

Record: 7-9

OFFENSE

Kevin Kolb: 3500+ yards 20TDs 17 INT's

Fitz: 110 catches 9 TD's 1200+ yards
Roberts: 70 catches 850 Yards 2 TD's
Heap: 55 catches 550 yards and 2 TD's
Doucet: 150 yards and 1 TD (injured in week 3)

Beanie: 245 for 1029 yards 4.2 YPC and 6 TD's (3 fumbles)

Wildcard: PP21 will get an offensive touchdown

DEFENSE

Dockett 4 sacks
Campbell 6 sacks
Schofield 7 sacks
Porter 1 sacks
Haggans 1 sacks
Acho 4 sacks

PP21 5 INT's
Jefferson 1 INT's
Marshall 1 INT's
Rhodes 3 INT's

Wilson (Will re injure his arm in week 3 and not finish the season) :bang:

We will be in the Super Bowl, and we will win it.

Offensive MVP: Stuckey

Defensive MVP: Bradley

Defense will set a new NFL record for take-sways.

Kolb and Fitz take over ESPN and the Cardinals are the big story. Kolb has a slow starts then heats up for close to 4000 yards. Fitz gets many of those yards well over 1200.

Beanee 1200 yards just look at him go.

Housler becomes a major part of offense 600 yards with Heap as his back up.

The Offensive line plays well with the big guy Duece having a great year. He will be starting by game 3.

We win 10 games and win the first round in the play offs.

Calis becomes a houshold name as he and Washington lead this team on the defensive side. Strong year for Peterson 5 int's.

Kolb will surprise some by throwing less than 15 INT's. Think he'll end up in the 3,500 yard range with 22 or more TD's.

While I hope Beanie surprises me, I am putting him down for 850 yards at best with another sub 4.0 YPC.

Just don't have a real feeling about what type of #'s Fitz and other receivers will put up... I guess Fitz should hit 1,000 yards at minimum. Heap, Doucet and Roberts should then round out the top tier in terms of receiving yardage.

So, I got us at 10 & 6 and winning the west. HOWEVER, I really believe the Rams are going to make a serious move this year. I think we will be battling them for the division crown right down to the end of the season. They are at Pitt in week 16 and host the 9ers to wrap up the season in week 17. We are at Cincy and then host the Hags in our finale... I like our chances!

See us at 7-9.

Kolb 3,500 yards and a decent year all around.
Beanie 700 yards and banged up alot.
Pass D will be awful to start season...No pressure and inexperienced corners/Rashad Johnson.
Wilson will miss most of the season.

Will improve as the year goes on and be looking forward to next year when I believe we turn the corner.

How long have you been a Cards fan? ;) Expect the worst & hope for the best has always been my motto.

This team has never won 12 games in the regular season & I think it's pretty far fetched to think they will in 2011 given some of their holes & question marks...but we are 0-0 as of today.

With all the changes in personel, new DC, holes at OLB, questionable OT play I'm thinking 8-8 is the max in wins & ultimately believe we win 6 or 7 games even in the NFC Worst. Hope I'm wrong but losing 2 key guys this team was counting on in Williams & Tolar isn't helping 2 suspect areas of a mediocre team.

Rams are going to win the division, we could finish last.

I really think this division is much maligned and could actually flip this year to a tough division to play in.

The division as a whole is improving pretty fast.

It's not like anything near as bad as it has been.

I think Kolb struggles at times but has a decent year. 12 starts, 3000 yards, 19 TDs, 8 INTs, 1 concussion.

8 - 8, tied with the Rams for the division lead. No playoffs as the tiebreaker goes all the way down to strength of schedule which puts the Rams into the postseason.

Beanie misses half the season (or more) with an injury as the Cards set modern records for futility in the run game. Horton starts to make a difference but our inability to run the ball really hurts us in the 4th quarter as other teams seem to run and pass at will as our guys tire. The improved pass rush puts us in the top half of the NFL for hurries and sacks and takes a little of the pressure off our secondary but it won't be enough.

All told, there will be more positives than negatives with the team but it becomes obvious that we need one more strong draft before we can compete with the big boys weekly.:koolaid:

"prediction's" is plural :)

7+9=16 prediction's

;)

Beanie Wells will survive an entire season as the starting RB

Early Doucet will stay healthy for the entire season.

How about those bold predictions...

Finish the season at 11 - 5. Final game of the season against the Seahawks, we rest our regulars and our second team gets beat by 3 points. After we beat the Cowboys, we have the division championship wrapped up and suffer a let down the following week at San Francisco.
