Not really. Any decent PF should make 10 out of 13 shots against the Suns.

What pisses me off is that Magette is getting any shot he wants.

The only thing is Brand is not just a decent PF, he is a good PF (one of the MVP candidates). We were effectively double teaming him in the beginning that seemed to work somewhat. He really openned up in the 2nd. Part of the reason is our foul problem.

I agree, Brand is, in my opinion, the best big man in the league,save for maybe Amare and Duncan. Double teaming him works when you double team off of Ross. Once Radmanovic or Magette come in, you can not double him because those two guys can shoot.

I think Phoenix will be fine, but they need to calm down and take advantage of mismatches (TT IS doing that so far)

On defense I say either double Brand QUICK (not the late ones like we've seen a few times) or play him straight up and just limit everyone else.

On offense, we are doing a good job of pulling Brand out of the key to guard our big men on the perimeter, we need to get them to cut to the basket and get Brand in foul trouble. Brand isn't quick enough to back pedal with most of the Suns, I think he could end up getting a lot of body fouls if the Suns drive on him.

I knew before this series started that our "bigs" would be getting in a lot of foul trouble. Is B.Grant just entirely useless now? I'd like to see him in 1 or 2 minute spurts to make sure the key bigs don't get stupid fouls at the end of quarters.

Nice run to start the 3rd. I like what they're doing, doubling before he gets the ball and denying the entry pass off Ross. Jones is also the perfect candidate for that.
