Help for vbulletin dummies please?

For a while now, when I make a post on ASFN, a long blank area is included below my last line. I do not use a signature. How do I get rid of the wasted space and tighten up my post? You can see what I mean in this blank area below.

It's your username/avatar/stats/contributor symbol on the left. That forces the minimum size of any post - even if it is one line.
