Yes. Draft is over unless we trade back in.

Bettcher is going to be the first DC to put 11 safeties on the field, :D

Nah we lost 2 in the off season gained 34 year old Bethea and 2 rookies.... Makes sense to me with Betheas age and HB inabiliy to stay healthy..

Wow! I hope your kidding. Maybe this guy will be worth it
It was very unlikely that they wanted to draft more than 7 players anyways and this trade means we will draft exactly 7 players. They got the guy they wanted so at least for now it appears to be worth it.

Secondary is pretty full now...
Patrick Peterson
Tyvon Branch
Antoine Bethea
Justin Bethel
Brandon Williams
Johnathan Ford
Budda Baker
Tyrann Mathieu
Harlan Miller

I'm guessing that's who we go with

While no one screams I'm CB2 it's a good group overall

Damn had we only signed Mo Claiborne on a 1 yr deal I'd feel really good about the secondary.

We got the 208 pick, it's worth 7.8 points. We gave up the following picks in the 7th rd, 221 (worth 2.8 pts) & 231 (worth 1 pt.)

So easy math tells me we did fine with what we gave up.

I forget who posted the article on success rate for positions based on what round the were taken but pretty much the result was close to zero % success rate for 7th rounders.

I agree with you totally but I still think about Pat Tillman being a 7th round pick.

Always an exception to any rule.

Of course but that's not really my point. I still think about Pat Tillman when I start to think 7th round picks have little value. It resets my thinking.

Not mine and you do see my avatar. :)

To me it's like taking a QB in the 6th rd. Once in 40 years it paid off and it was a jack pot but still no value to me a QB in the 6th rd.

Then it's not a rule.

An exception to the rule is simply something which goes against the norm (rule). For instance, there is a rule in English:

I before E except after C,
or when used as an A, as in neighbour or weigh.

That is the rule. Exceptions are: weird or Rottweiler. They don't follow any of the rules.

In other words, exceptions to the rules are things which happen or occur when they shouldn't.

I get the feeling you like trolling me, at least that's my perception.

Nope. I hardly ever note who I'm responding to and the saying is suppose to be a jocular way of responding when one gets caught out.
