Yes we have Buddha as heir to HB, however, there are a lot of LB's and DE in FA and draft. With a new DC, and situational 3-4 and 4-3 line-ups, Deonne could be out of $LB and put back at DB, especially if we don't get any additional DB via FA.

Or he could just as easily be a June 1st cut.

Please! The dude will be a pro bowl safety. Have been saying it for some time now. Hopefully Wilks can see this and make it happen.

You think Budda gets moved into the slot?

Not neccesarily, Buc would be a great strong safety, with the ability to cover TEs or support the run. Budda, can be either in the slot or a center field type FS.

Maybe, I think they could stick with Bethea at FS. Lets see if they take a slot corner in the draft.

The guy was a monster in the secondary at Washington state, I blame B.A for his career. Oh hey kid can you gain 20lbs and play middle linebacker smh

He’s not quick or fast enough to cover WRs & TEs! Have you watch him trying to cover RBs?

Please

He's carrying 20 pounds of muscle over this college playing weight, since he's playing out of position. And if my memory serves me right he's a 4.4/4.5 guy. It would be a great move. Mark my words.

Except you can't go "back" to something you have not ever done. Buc is not a safety and all this talk is nonsense.

Well hopefully Wilks has a clue and moves him back.

you mean the dude that just came from the team that did the same exact thing with Thomas Davis. Oh and that worked out pretty well. Buc is not a probowl LB but he is way under appreciated on this board and better than most give him credit for. The people saying BA ruined this kid are mistaken IMO, he would not still be in the NFL if he was a safety, as many have pointed out he can't cover well enough.

DBuc hasnt played DB in three years... most likely a mistake to move him back there now.... if we do it probably takes him a couple seasons to get his instincts and reflexes back... not to mention he would have to trim back down a bit to recover some quickness.
