2020 Phoenix Mercury Regular Season Thread

BG with her 5th foul in the 3rd.

Brittney Griner opened both halves with quick fouls. It is frustrating to see her not make adjustments.

And now, she has 5 fouls halfway through the 3rd quarter. And a technical called on her.

Luckily it is against a depleted Liberty team, but she gets into foul trouble early in most games.

Luckily, our new Big Three has quickly become a Big Four, with Hartley leading the team in scoring.

As a third Guard, she comes off the bench but, when needed, is a finisher with Taurasi, Diggins-Smith
and Griner (if she hasn't fouled out).

And the Mercury lead is down to 4 points with Griner not playing.

I like the play of Sophie Cunningham. And, I must admit, with her blonde hair and short shorts, she is
gorgeous.

But I still miss Dewanna Bonner.

It's a 2-point Mercury lead.

But I fully expect them to win this game.

Nice to see them come back in the 4th. Hartley is a scorer, very nice to see. Two game win streak. Next game is Tuesday against the Dream.

We have gotten a few calls our way this quarter. Refs still suck

Chennedy Carter is good.

This was a GOOD win. All wins are good, but this was GOOD. We grinded it out and played well in the 2nd half. I’m a little concerned about our rebounding and our defense at times, though. DT is a beast.
