2020 Phoenix Mercury Regular Season Thread

The Mercury played like a tired team for three quarters, but stayed close.

But, as pro's, they turned it on when they needed to, in the 4th quarter
for the win.

Three wins in a row after losing the first two games.

Also that the "3" on the left side of the dash came in our last three games.

With so many new faces on the roster, the Mercury came around pretty quickly.

Better that than being on a losing streak.

Today's Mercury game (Thu. August 6th) will be televised on ESPN2 at 7:00.

It is a TV trifecta with the Suns game on FSAZ-34 at 1:00, the D-backs
on the local Fox-10 at 4:15 and the Mercury on ESPN-2 at 7:00.

The game is being televised on ESPNews - Channel 331 on Cox. Not on ESPN2 as advertised.

The Mercury are leading 36-28 vs. Chicago about half way through the 2nd quarter.

Great first quarter by the Merc. Nice to see some other bench folks step up and hit some shots (Shatori with two big threes). Keep it up!!

96-86 victory over Chicago.

And a TV sweep today for the Suns, D-backs and Mercury.

The D-backs come-from-behind victory in the bottom of the 9th.

The 2nd sweep by the three within a week.

My three favorite teams are putting it together.
