Aces storming back and bring it to a one possession game.
I've noticed that Brittney is the skinniest player on the court.
She doesn't get to the foul line. And she got her 4th foul during the 3rd quarter.
In other words, she is not a Power Center, like Liz Cambage, for example.
Which explains why, despite being 6'8" and putting up good scoring numbers,
she can't carry the Mercury to victory.
With Diana Taurasi at age 38, that will become even more evident.
DT from long range! Back to a 12 pt lead. Nice!
Agreed. She has flashes of playing well but is not consistent enough to impose her will like I expect a power forward or center to do.
Huge 3 to end the 3rd. Nice to have the momentum back.
Not only a good win for the Mercury, but a necessary one.
With the Suns victory, as the D-backs get worse by the day,
maybe I won't be rooting for three losing teams.
Mercury win! And boy did we need it. Nice to see them play with urgency. They were sloppy at times still but much more of a complete game compared to the last two.
The Mercury, the D-backs and the Suns did all win today.
Who would have thought?
Diana Taurasi became the first player in @WNBA
history to notch at least 20 points and 10 assists in a game at the age of 38 or older. The only @NBA
players to do so, age 38+, are: John Stockton (8x) Steve Nash (2x) Michael Jordan Karl Malone
