Interesting seeing the team play without Book and CP3. Ayton and Mikal trying to do things they normally don't try, but neither having much success at them.

Both seem aggressive at least.

I really do not like Elfrid Payton. I really hope he does not get playing time in the regular season.

I'm following the gamecast and box score at ESPN.

It looks like Elfrid Payton is playing better than Cam Payne though.

Yeah, payne is missing everything and badly.

Offense has absolutely no flow. Glad this is preseason, but Kings seem to making everything from 3.

Good to see Shamet playing comparatively well.

Jalen Smith looks like garbage. We can trade him any time as far as I'm concerned.
Makes it even worse having to watch Haliburton play like a stud in the same game.

Really not much positive at all in that half for the Suns. Defense was ok I guess.

I think Haliburton is a star on the rise. I'm not sure about the Suns thinking on that pick other than the usual talking points.

McGee looks good if you can keep him to doing what he does well.

In Ayton's few minutes he went after a couple blocks he normally does not even attempt and got a piece of a couple shots. Wondering if Mcgee is already influencing him.

McGee's championship experience should help Ayton grow. He can challenge him in practice.

No not really.

Kid wants to be a small forward and can't even shoot. Don't see him ever making it in the NBA.

Not that it matters, since management seems hell-bent on not doing anything about it, but this game highlights just how badly the Suns need another power forward.

Elfrid Payton just sucks. Dribbles at the top for 5 seconds than throws a bad pass or drives for his own shot. He's just as bad as I remember.
