14 losses Gannon officially has the Cardinals record for most losses in a season.

488 points, most allowed by a Cardinals team in a season ever. Gannon proudly shattered his previous record by 33 points.

Let’s run it back!

Gannon should just resign (not be re-signed) - and get the rest of the coaching staff to do the same. Clean slate. Replacements won't be any worse than those who crafted this fantastic 3-14 season.

when a team set a franchise record for most losses -- IN THIS FRANCHISE -- that tells me its way, way more than the coach

Im not sure why Monti is getting a free pass in the national media

Think about this. The Cards finished 9 games behind the 3rd place team in our division!!!! It’s gotta be some sort of record. 9 games!!! lol

JG & his entire inept staff are an embarrassment. There’s ZERO way they aren’t fired

So I asked the Grok AI, if there ever was a HC who started out 20+ games below .500 and had a successful career, it named one coach from 60 years ago. Tom Landry started out 29 games below .500 then ripped off 20 straight years with a winning record.

I guess it isn’t impossible, since it happened once in NFL history.
Probably better odds of winning the powerball than that happening again.

He better be announcing the part of his staff that’s being fired.
More than likely he will tell us evaluations are ongoing.
My thinking is we’ve had 18 weeks to evaluate. What’s left?

I don’t know if anyone else listened to Cardinals OT on 98.7 after the game? Whoever the host was just took a flamethrower to Gannon and even burned Monti pretty hot too. And did so while sounding PISSED, agreeing with almost every complaint the callers made (and posters here have made).

Makes me think Gannon is as good as gone, with state radio laying track for the train to run him over tomorrow. Even shot down the “they need their own QB argument” saying so next year they get a rookie QB in year 4, but then get the built in excuse that you can’t expect to win with a rookie QB and that means they’d then get year 5? No way.

I think Gannon’s gone. Monti stays for reasons beyond me, and because he gets one more year, he gets to waste the next three by wasting another top 3 pick and choosing another coach with ish for brains we’ll likely have to fire two years later.

Gannon's press conference tonight was not one of a coach that expects to be retained. He looked and sounded quite defeated. On a personal level I truly feel bad for him, empathetically it's hard to watch. But it's pretty clear the team needs a big change.
