lower I think

likely by half

no 2nd rounder

no #40 so we are down to $6.3mm

but after that -- keep in mind each rookie signed pushes a league minimum player of $750k out of the top 51. So -- the third round pick of $787k really only adds $37k to the cap ($787k-$750k minimum)

so really: cap hit is closer to $3.8mm

No its 7mil
Cause u need to add another 4th round pick

Okay fair enough but to be honest the tenders are the smallest part at around $4 million, draft class is probably going to be over $5 million and I would assume the same for Phillips especially if they want to cover themselves from dead money in the future.

I don't think Hopkins cap hit will come down this year even if we get an extension

Under Hopkins present deal, you could turn $9m of this year's salary into a bonus spread over three seasons and free up $6m under the cap.

And you can be sure that Gonzalez won't be playing under his $3m+ tender. They'll sign a new deal for a couple of years and save 1 to 2m off the cap.

Dante Folwer - EDGE
Everson Griffen - DL
Shelby Harris - DL
Logan Ryan - CB
Eric Ebron - TE
Ndamukong Suh - DL
Malcolm Jenkins - S
Derek Wolfe - DL
Markus Golden - EDGE
De'Vondre Campbell - LB (because we need one)
Prince Amukamara - CB
Desmond Trufant - CB
Linval Joseph - DL
Damon Harrison - DL
Leonard Floyd - EDGE
Neville Hewitt - LB
Xavier Rhodes - CB
Kamalei Correa - EDGE
Andrew Billings - DL
Jordan Jenkins - EDGE

Adam Gotsis - DL
Elandon Roberts - ILB
Devon Kennard - LB

I don't believe we will add another WR, and I don't think there is an OL who they would get excited about. We do have a spot for a backup QB and another RB but I guess those will be bottom of the barrel signings. That leaves the defense. We definitely need to add an EDGE LB and an inside LB. I also think we will add another defensive lineman.

I would love to add Malcolm Jenkins, Devon Kennard, Shelby Harris, and Neville Hewitt. Suh is interesting because of his ties to Vance and he played with Phillips in Miami as well. His ability to stop the run would be valuable in our division. His cost 9 mil last year and would be a one year deal. Still has gas in the tank as he played 77% of snaps last year.

The highlighted guys are ones I would like to see he team pursue.

Wonder why there is no Clowey talks. A lot of free agents getting signed. It's a pipedream, but loved to see him in Arizona Red.
