Preseason: Suns @ Jazz Saturday game thread 12-12-20

On Saturday the Suns open preseason play for the 2020-21 season against the Jazz in Utah.

This will be the first game for each team. Already reports are coming in for the game.

Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

It will be televised on FSAZ and NBATV.

Monty says there are no injuries of note for the game.

Monty is unsure if Jae Crowder will play Saturday as he was a late arrival to practice.

It doesn't feel real the Suns will be playing again tomorrow for Devin Booker either.

He's 35 years old and on a short off season so there is going to be a little soreness. He was never going to play in this meaningless game unless he was feeling 100%.

Last year Paul only played in 2 of the 4 preseason games. I was looking forward to seeing him and wish he was playing. But at this point, Paul not playing means absolutely nothing. If he misses the next two as well then I may raise an eyebrow, but we are not at that point yet.

Prediction: Suns will play better this year than Kosokov’s team.

2nd Prediction: Chris Paul will be ready to go on 12/23.

All this. I'm disappointed not to see his debut in a Suns uniform yet but it's totally understandable.
