to finally figure out that Wells is our best tackle? I like(d) Denny, thought he could always rally a team and didn't take B.S. from quitters. It is just really tough to swallow that he can't identify "gamers" as opposed to practice players. Calvin Pace = practice player, Step = practice, Ross = practice. Why does it take until we are the worst team in the league to figure out that things aren't working?

Next up 1) Big moved to G and Rolle moved to S. Also, why is Shable even on this team?!?! Wouldn't you think that if you wanted to have the best chance to win you would have kept Hodgins? He can at least make contact with the defender. If you think that Hodgins is washed up then don't you believe that Bronson was a better project at fullback? To keep Shable on the team simply because you are thin at DE crippled the team. The to add insult to injury try to make him play FB.

Last question...why is Ware on this team?

All of the above should be enough to free Denny from the rest of the year. Get someone with a sideline presence, at this point I would welcome Pendy in as interim HC as long as he is not the HC next year unless we go 7-1 or 8-0, lol.

You are really pushing it calling Wells our best T. His game today was meidiocre at BEST. Plus it was just 1 game. We have had many people in the T position play well for 1 game. Lets not go overboard here.

Has anyone ever witnessed calvin pace hitting someone head on?...or do 100% of his tackles occur from the backside of chasing someone at an angle from the side...he has played a ton of defensive snaps over the past few season...and I do not recall seeing him actually in front of the guy with ball tackling them head on....

When grading our O Linemen, should it be a straitforward thing, or should I try to grade on the Cardinal's curve where marginal is actually exceptionally well? J/K

He was the best tackle on our team today and he had a tougher assignment than Davis.

He was mediocre at best. 1 game means nothing. Lets not annoint him anything. As of yet he is still a big waste of a nice contract.

Ross played really well in his first game against Rams... so don't let one game fool you. Moreover, he did not have a great game, just ok. Just shows how we are willing to accept "just ok" after so much suckiness...

Our worst offensive lineman iis the coach. How many times are we going to see a defensive end go unblocked into our QB because no one was assigned to block the DE!?!?!?

Ah, it's that beloved gap protection they like to run. You know, the one were the back is supposed to pick up that DE and never does? I really think that Denny's coaching schemes for offensive are outdated. That's why he got rid of people like Kendall who questioned them.
