The Broncos made the playoffs last year with 89 million in dead cap. The Bills last year had 75 million in dead cap.
56 million from Kyler doesnt scare me.

because it’s worth a shot. KK might have influence to bring him in and Dan Quinn is probably on the hot seat after keeping JD in the game. And they’re the only team I can think of that might offer something. Couldn’t hurt.

Yes but Kyler also embarrassed him on a national stage. Failing as a HC is not a new thing. Having your QB big-time you on a national level and then losing the locker room is way tougher to overcome.

I’m not 100% on this. He was an MVP candidate a few years back under KK and hopefully this year has humbled KM a bit. Mariotta does not have the ceiling/potential that KM does in KK’s offense. Obviously, I’m not saying this is going to happen, but it seems like the best opportunity out there for a potential trade.

KK is not a HC. Period. He was not going to last no matter who was QB.

The Commanders injuries go way beyond Daniels. Their season is over, they aren't competitors this year.

The real problem is this organization operates within the confines of the salary cap. They are afraid to commit to make the team better with taking out any kind of mortgage on the future.
Breece Hall would improve the running back room but would cost us a (GULP) draft pick.
Is there was an o-lineman available by today, that would improve the line into next year do you think it would be a good move? Of course. We would be plugging a hole FOR 2026, but alas, we wouldn’t.
we will ride out the year, wait until day 2 or 3 of free agency and pray for a good draft.

i thought Mac Jones would be a UFA, but the 49ers signed him to a two year deal. I dont think SF is trading him here either

My crystal ball is a bit cloudy, but I think I see KM in a different jersey kicking the CARDS arse as have many first round rejects.
I wrote during the game Brissett was hurting Murray’s trade value. The Cards will start Murray like the baseball Cards started Fedde, hoping he’d pitch a decent game. It didn’t work for them and won’t work for AZ.

With the way Daniel Jones, sam darnold and other have revived in new offenses, I think kylers value is much higher than folks think.
There will some team out there that thinks he’s the man.
