The Cards should completely clean house...but they won't. Wonder if finishing 2-15 will prompt ownership to clean house?

firing everyone right now would be emotionally satisfying for the fans, but REALLY counter productive

Mike would have to hire new people and those with choices would look at a mid season firing after 2.25 years and not even take the interview

even after this season-- the only way forward to get the team in the mix for the best GM / HC candidates would be to hire someone as President of Football and let Mike announce -- its new guys deal. I am focusing on getting a new HQ built. Then maybe.........

If you decide to completely ignore all the other factors that makes this one different than the ones you mentioned, yes, I could see how you could completely misread the situation.

Yes TJ, Dillingham and the Jedd Fisch situation were basically the same. Incredible.

We've established that you bought what he's sold. Fair. But you're naive to think that if the right opportunity presented itself that he wouldnt take it. This is the NIL era. there's no loyalty anywhere. ASU's NIL stinks compared to the the name brand schools and has only so much money to pay coaches. Put down the Kool-Aid. Everyone has a price tag, including Kenny. I'm not dumb enough to think that Tommy Lloyd, who cried during his introductory press conference at Arizona, wouldn't seriously consider UNC, Kentucky, Kansas or another blue blood program.

Like I said, I like Kenny, and think he genuinely loves coaching ASU, but his loyalties can shift in 5 minutes like anyone else's.

Seems minor, but I bet with that video, if JG were to cut him, there would be a complaint filed with the NFLPA against him and the organization.

ST coach jerking him away really highlights how Gannon was don the right thing here
Im kinda thinking its more this

JG might have issues as a coach, but never comes across as a bad guy. I dont recall him chewing out Kyler for his 10 second scramble/intentional groundings.

JG's a good dude for sure. I'm having issues with his inability to hold anyone else accountable. He can keep blaming himself, but that just seems disingenuous if no corrective action is taken.

I get it but look what Coach Beard on the right does at the end of that clip and tell me that we’re overreacting

Arizona Cardinals since starting 6-4 in 2024:

4-8 record,
22 ppg offensively.
0-6 vs teams with winning records during that span.

Even if we were able to beat the bad teams (which is very much in question at this point), how on earth are you going to start competing vs. the good teams?!?

I think you're wrong. I think he stays at ASU for a very long time - even if very successful. He went to Chaparral High and ASU. He's been an ASU fan since he was like 5 or 6 and tailgating with his family out in the parking lot outside of SDS. In nearly every extended interview he has done about ASU, he has said it is his dream job. Period.
I think you guys are nuts. A blue blood comes knocking with overwhelming generational wealth available - something asu can’t match - as well as the premier recruiting opportunities he’s gone. He’s not moving to a Mizzou, but the big boys? Yeah gone.
