Still doesn't win the game. We'd have to kick it to Seattle, and they'd just need a field goal to win by 2.
It’s hard to say, I can see their kicker choking when he knows a miss loses the game. Missing a kick when it’s tied 20-20 isn’t really pressure knowing it will just go to overtime

I know I meant at the time we scored the first TD. The analytics is go for two on the first TD, if you get it you're kicking the extra point on second TD for the lead. Analytics say you get the 2 pointer at a rate of 56% IIRC.

I do not agree with this. It's just what the coaches do these days

If nothing else it was a little unhinged
You mean unhinged like the person who said my child should die? Cool! Noted that burning a knock off jersey to show my disgust for how the team is playing is unhinged and warrents saying my child should die.

This world is whacky!

Burning MHJs jersey midgame was unhinged. I don't know anything about the other stuff you had going on, sorry to hear that.

Agree, it does not. How we start next week will say a lot about where this offense stands. What scares me is our OL. If we continue to struggle running the ball & MHJ resorts back to dropping passes, this offense has zero chance of succeeding & it wouldn’t matter if Brady in his prime were the QB.

I'm concerned about this season, but neither do I think it's hopeless PA. In fact after two razor thin losses against what appear to be pretty good teams, I'm still quite hopeful.

TEN is a must win though. Then we have tough games against IND (away), GB (home) and DAL (away).

Buckle up! :)

Hope you've been well man. Hope you had a good summer.

Doing well & had a great summer. Hope you’re well & had a nice summer also!

I think that our D can be special once certain players return to action. Special enough that we can stay in games that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to if we had to count on our offense. The OL coaching change seems to have negatively impacted us, but it’s still early. He started slow with OSU last year & by season’s end, their running game was by far the best in the nation. Remains to be seen if that carries over to the NFL. I honestly feel like regardless of how bad our offense looks, our D can allow us to play with any team in the NFL. Seattle is a really good team, maybe one of the best, and we had a shot to win it late. If we can play with them, we can hang with the likes of GB, LAR, TB, etc. just too early to give up on the team just yet.

Not sure if this has been answered, but light year is a measure of distance not time.
Can also be a unit of time.
Like, if you are traveling at 100,000mph then it takes you 2362 years to cover that distance.

Note:
Pulled the numbers OMA(OUTTA MY ASS) so don't check my math...it was for conceptual reference only.

At halftime! Trying to break the MHJ jinx! I might buy 13 more and burn each one before each game if it helps him play like he did in the second half.
Start with just one more.

If the ritual works establish a gofundme and the rest of us can help offset the financial hardship of buying a dozen sacrificial jerseys

I was shocked the JG didn't go for 2 there. It's was these new coaches do with their analytics.
@daves why you disagree with this post? I thought you even wrote about it once.

Yes, NFL analytics suggest a team should go for the two-point conversion when down 14 points and scoring a touchdown, because it provides a statistically better chance to win the game rather than force overtime. By succeeding on the two-point attempt, the team would then only need one touchdown and an extra point to win. If the two-point attempt fails, a team can still go for two after their next touchdown to tie the game.

Looks like he's doing exactly what he's taught. He leveraging the DB right out of the play. If K1 meant to throw it short he would have put more air under it to allow Wilson to adjust to the ball. IMO

That's a poor pass in my book.

It's both really, I posted this play in the Kyler thread. The ball should have more on it, no real excuse for their not to be. But also Mike has seen enough underthrown Kyler passes to adjust to this in the air better.
