Cool! Now do we opine on how Petzing should still lose his job despite 1 good quarter of play?
Thats what I’m interested in. I don’t think Petzing gets a free pass for the last 3.75 games…. Last quarter of today doesn’t make up for it

Uncle Fester def needs to be shown the door.
Unfortunately, I think this entire regime should go with him. It’s just mid, from GM to Coach to QB to Rest Of Roster.

Just got back from the stadium. K1 played another pretty good game, I thought. Neither pick was his a fault. Hopefully this is a spark if life the team needs. MHJ very slow start cost us the game, even a couple of his catches were almost dropped. Hopefully those catches at the end build his confidence up

I noticed that too for a guy who had a great rookie year he's never been the same since.
Has size and speed but seems to panic when the ball is there and gets handsy.

Oh I dunno...we had RB1 averaging 4.7yds a carry through 3 quarters but only ran him 6 times in those 3 quarters.
The Petzing is scared to run the ball without JC...

I’m like 98.7% out on this entire regime and Kyler. Monti’s personnel moves are meh. The coaching staff talks a good game but can’t back it up. Petzig is just terrible and needs to be canned now. It doesn’t matter who takes over OC duties. He’s that bad. And while the defense has played adequate to good this season they roll over at the worst possible times. And Kyler just isn’t good. Harrison showed up at the end of the game, but he also was responsible for putting us in the hole. I have little faith that guy is ever going to even a good #1 much anything near a star.
This is just bad team. McBride, an ancient Calais, maybe Will Johnson if he can ever remain on a field, Mack Wilson, and Josh sweat are good football players. But other than McBride none are stars and even McBride doesn’t strike fear into any defense.

Dude, Kyler had 129 yards passing through the first 3 quarters with an APY somewhere around 4.2. He had a QBR of 27.8 and a passer rating of 73 for the game.
If that's a "pretty good game" I'm going to have to stop watching football.

This team *could* win a bunch of games. Heck, they could have won the last 2 and be 4-0. We're 7 points from being undefeated.
This is a good defense, and the offense has shown that it can move the ball and score point for the 15 minutes Kyler decides he's going to try.
Kyler has a lot of issues in his game but those issues aren't why we are losing (mainly). The reason we are losing is that he's choosing 3 yard checkdowns when 15 yard passes are available. It's that simple.
If Kyler can get over whatever psychological issue he has when games are in the balance and play like we're down 2 scores all the time, then this team will win more games than it loses. It can still have a winning season from 2-2.
Kyler just needs to open up more and stop being a wuss.

It does seem really slow and underpowered recently. Like Kyler's throws
It's always struggled a bit on game day but that's got worse, but even on normal days it's being slow. Like when hitting post it can take 10 seconds to do its thing.

Mikey is going to be a great wide receiver when he gets a quarterback that can hit him regularly on these types of timing routes. He's never going to be a guy that mosses dudes or beats you for speed down the field. But on these kind of intricate timing boots, he's going to be very good.

I stopped counting, but it seemed I typed that a lot
I don't understand the sideways offense when the goal is to go north
It allows the D to crowd the line and then you can't run either

MikeWilly showed some Dawg on that play...bodied the corner at his break, snatched the ball...then bodied the corner again out of bounds. We need that fire across the WR room
