If the Cardinals were aggressive, I could better accept losing, but they weren't.
AQ Shipley hit the nail on the head in the post game. He said the offense was more trying to run clock in the second half rather than score.
The defense was horribly conservative. The entire 4th quarter we rushed 4 and played a zone. Never tried to light that rookie up with a blitz and play man. On the last drive it was 3rd and 6, I think, and I think Rallis might finally bring the house. Don't line up that way. Inexplicably our LBs, knowing where the sticks are, drop 8 to 10 yards into coverage and the guy turns right around for the easiest pitch and catch for a first down you can ever hope for in the NFL. Then, we play the exact same defense and get ripped over the top. No pressure, no trying to get in his head and speed him up.
It was disgusting.
I know some people will be "Murray, Murray , Murray" like that is the only problem but it's way bigger. This staff blew this season by thinking they had the Philadelphia Eagles out there instead of the team they truly had
