How come Almed did not score on that play

Yeah said that same thing. I think he was heading back to the base but bet he could have still made it.

That last walk for boxberger, that last pitch was a strike.

Bradley needs another pitch or 2. A change up would be devastating...

Well, it's Game 2. Show us your best stuff, Shelby Miller. See if you can get your 2018 ERA under 9.00.

OK, it's Colorado. See if you can yield less runs than we score. That's what winning is about.

Seriously... anything better than 4 innings and 7 runs allowed might be considered progress...

Lamb is dangerously close to being in "Month of May Goldy" land... He is pathetic at the plate...

At this time, I would say this is our strongest lineup (vs. righties). Avila looks like he is ready to produce. Souza -- not yet. Ahmed -- platoon vs. lefties.

If that is true about Avila, there is not an easy out 1-8 in the lineup. Unless Lamb's annual 2nd half disappearing act is on again for a third consecutive year.

How long can they keep running Miller out there?

Goldy with a solo HR in the top of the 1st. And, so far, Miller has given up 2 runs, with runners on 2nd & 3rd with one out. BB pointed out that Shelby Miller did not get the benefit of calls on two pitches that were close at the start and it might be different if he had.

What BB didn't mention is that pitchers have to earn the respect of umpires to get close calls and Miller has not.

And Miller gives up a 3-run HR. 5-1 Rockies. That's a 67.16 ERA for the first 2/3 of an inning. And he is over 30 pitches.

And just gave up a walk to the #8 hitter. 37 pitches in all as the Rockies batted around.

I feel for Bert and BB who have to say things like, "At Coors Field, that lead means nothing."

And now a 3 run HR. Wow down 5 to 1.
