You aleast underrate the Lakers and are always proven wrong. That team is definitely better than us. I also think Ant and Co are still better than us.

But even if we’re as good as one of them, that makes us a 7 seed… which is now a play-in team.
Always proven wrong? The Suns owned them last year head to head.

Lakers could be better than the Suns, I said as much.

Like I said I think it's pretty even after the first 2 teams, could go just about any which way 3-9. But teams have changed quite a bit, need to see them function for awhile before anyone can make a very good prediction.

buy low sell high - sounds easy enough - if it was nobody would go bankrupt

we were giving up picks to get rid of players - we sold low on kevin durant (but lucked out)

mark williams has been interesting - suns locked him well up before today's sign and trade - we didn't sell low at all

did miles bridges have anything to do with that? can we expect the miles extension to follow the same timeline? because that's what the hippie's picking up

ish must have found confidence in the latest foot report

he started off saying no load management but then traded grayson - oneale and a first round draft pick so he could have someone to pair williams with

mark williams plays tough in the paint but jordan ott wants discipline - there will be times when you stay on your man (or in position) and watch someone else's man score - which is completely unnatural for some players (nick richards comes to mind)

it sounds to me like the suns believe miles bridges will keep that discipline - along with mark williams keeping faith in ott's system(s)

don't listen to me btw - a few weeks ago i had today pinned as mark williams' last day with the suns org - instead we've gone all in time-wise committing to 3 full years

For all the crap Brooks gets for being a ball hog, we missed him a lot while he was out.
I think he takes a shot or two he shouldn't, the coaches should work with him on that. But I like the fact he's agressive with the ball and I wouldn't want to lessen his confidence level by dialing him back too much.

Brooks and Green shot much because Booker didn't

Maybe at times but I don't think that was the problem most of the season. Green took a lot of shots out of the flow of the game and to me that's his biggest weakness. Brooks would occasionally just force a shot when a pass to a wide open teammate would have been a better decision but that's always a fine line if your job is to score.

everyone who said the suns had no future was dead wrong - myself included - times were bleak- i didn't see a way out of kd - it was truly hard to watch - games were like dentist appointments

you can't tell me we don't have a future now - not with the two 19 year olds - not with rasheer - not with gillespie oso and dunn

criticize away but these kids can play - we can debate ceilings but we can't say we aren't a young team taking some serious swings

far as the drafts go - if we're making the playoffs we weren't getting lottery picks anyways - granted all we have are late first round picks but guess where we drafted rasheer and koa

ish and gregory have been dope at identifying falling talents in the first round and doing whatever it takes to acquire them - now they don't have to move up to do it

average age for a nba roster is 26 to 27

the suns roster averages 26 years old

i think book brooks and kennard are our oldest players and they're all just 30?

not to mention we have an owner who doesn't mind spend'n - he couldn't help himself at first - he's still paying for those mistakes but i think he's a fast learner - we saw a complete turnaround
