I think Steph Curry could make a very good argument that is not the case, and several others.

Part of being a deadly shooter is the ability to get shots up also.
Indeed. He's a nice guy to have around if you need a last minute three from a set play. But realistically, he's only averaging one and a half per game for the last four seasons.

It will be interesting to see why this is the case. The thing we definitely will want from him is to put it up more.

From distance?

1. Curry
2. Klay
3. Allen/Miller

Huh? Thompson has a career 3FG% of .409, good but unremarkable. He's way overhyped because he's had a couple of huge moments and was Steph Curry's teammate.

OK. Back from vacation.

Finally heading to Vegas for Summer League after multiple delays in Phoenix.

Real quick.

From my understanding, Phoenix Suns are signing Luke Kennard with $6.1M tax mid-level.

That won't become available until Miles Bridges trade goes through. #Suns

I don't know if it's possible but it would be nice if we could move Miles somewhere else as part of the big trade. Putting aside his past, I know we gain a lot by this deal but I'm just not sure we need Miles with Fleming and Koa here. And those two need the minutes.

We would have to get a lot of something else if that happened.

I’ve thought about this too. I am not so much sold on the Bridges trade even from the basketball side of it.

It’s going to happen though.

Well, the dollars part of it seems to help us quite a bit but the PR cost could be significant. As for the basketball side, Miles can put on a show but he never seemed to impact winning consistently enough to build around (JMO). But if he were a problem free version of Miles Bridges, he'd be a good stopgap for the PF spot until Fleming or Koa could take it from him.

Our GM Gregory knows the player. So hoping his inside knowledge is a key here. His extension is going to make staying under the second apron in the future a lot harder.

The Suns signing of Luke Kennard will follow and I expect that gets finalized either today or tomorrow.
