Pick Which movie will gross the most from Friday through Sunday! Catch point is that I am going to combine the total take of Toy Story 1 & 2 and count it as one. Good Luck!

I have to say this is the first weekend in a long time that I wasn't sure who was going to win...

I don't have a clue this week...

Im tempted to bet on Toy Story 1 & 2 however I didnt know that it was a double feature. I dont see many parents wanting to take their young kids to sit through 3.5 hours at the theatre. I just don't know.

It is going to be another tough one to figure out again this week. Not sure which one to choose between TS double-feature or Zombieland. I hope I choose better than I did last week. Got to go with my instincts and quit reading too much faulty information.

Let's not forget it's like 14 bucks a ticket for 3D tickets too cus of glasses. How many families gonna pay that right now? No matinée price. Plus 3.5 hours long.

Toy Story will also have fewer showings available and is being shown in only about 1600 theaters compared to Zombieland being in over 2900 theaters with more showing times available. Of course Toy Story will make up for limited showings with higher cost per ticket, but like you say the cost will be a deterrent in the current economic environment.

I am going to go with Zombieland but will wait until later tonight to make it official in case I read something that changes my mind.

Shane are you sitting this one out? It is a tough one to predict and I wouldn't be surprised if I lose again this week.

It looks like Zombieland has a commanding lead.

Yes it does. The Early Weekend Estimates are as follows:

Zombieland $ 23.5 million
Toy Story $ 14.2 million
Invention of Lying $ 7.2 million
Whip It $ 4.7 million

I needed this after taking a beating on the Michigan/Michigan State game.

I think the people who bet on Toy story based on this should get their money back. There was only one ticket for both movies. I'd wouldn't have bet on TS, had I known that.
