All depends on the price... An Elite but older player at a position that could be upgraded, but isn't a great need.

Interested, but I wouldn't overpay. He'll be cost a 3rd before the trade deadline, so why pay more now?

Don't think they will deal him for less than a two and more. Plus he will cost 30-32 per.

Would you guarantee the first 2 years?

It's a three year deal ask (reportedly). IMO, the compensation is the bigger issue.

Actually seems that Hendrickson is being quite fair and realistic in his demand. Asking about 20M less total than TJ and about 40M less garanteed.

Garanteed money is the issue. Bengals are low balling the garanteed money. They are reportedly offering 28M garanteed. That is 73M less that TJ.

Yeah. I don't believe the contract is as big of an issue for a team acquiring him as it is made out to be. It's the combination of contract AND compensation. Bengals are negotiating like they have leverage, and teams don't want to pay a high premium in picks and players.

Why does it feel that someone like the Rams. Seahawks, or 49ers will make a deal to get him? Whether he is worth what he is asking, all I know is I don't want to play him twice a year but the stars seem to alighn for the other teams in our division. OOOOORRRRRR, it's a bidwill thing. (no cap on purpose)

Right or wrong, the Cardinal’s largest goal is to continue on the path of creating sustainable success. The last thing they will do right now is give up draft capital AND compensation for a 30+ year old player regardless of how good he is. Draft & develop is the primary path they’re taking.

im not so sure we have this plethora of effective pass rushers.

Ojulari IMO you can t even count on at this point. Browning is ok and Sweat our big acquisition never has had a double digit sack season.

So yes we could use Micah or Hendrickson.

I mean, the terms are supposedly a 1st and a 'young defensive talent'. I trade a 1st and Darius Robinson for him 7 days a week, including Sunday.
Yea no….. The guy is 31 years old and Darius Robinson could be a budding star for all we know that would be absolutely asinine! not even counting the first round capital you wanna give up on top of it.

Not true at all

Well he was hurt when we drafted him, then got hurt bad again and isnt ready for the season this year. So far it doesnt look like he is some future piece of our pass rushing unit. Bad pick in my opinion.

I wasn’t talking about Ojulari. I was talking about sweat. Never having a double digit sack season.
