Due to injuries and the Cardinals looking to generate a pass rush from anywhere possible late last season they moved Robinson around in an attempt to generate a pass rush. So while he did play edge a bunch in the few games he was out there, it was out of necessity. With the depth at Edge now I anticipate Robinson playing inside more. At the training camp practice that I attended he played with the ones as a DT along with Calais, and Tomlinson.

I think he plays as a five technique in odd fronts and a seven-technique in even fronts.

I see Robinson more as a 3-technique in even fronts but yes he has the ability to play outside. This flexibility give Rallis options to throw new looks at the offense. IMO Sweat if your prototypical strong side DE in an even front.

I thought it was a fair response to my omission of DRob in edge assets. I didn't take it any other way.

To your point, I don't believe you can point to DRob as an example of a member of an "exceptional" pass rush at this time. I tend to be VERY optimistic in regards to DRob but he hasn't shown anything yet.

It was more a criticism of K9 than your post. Argueing where he plays this year based on last year is just pointless. I just thought you are wasting your time trying to prove a point to someone who just wanted to argue.

DR played were he was needed due to the lack of personnel last year.

I suspect DR will most likely line-up as 5 tech DE in the penny front. That is outside for a DL but NOT outside

There are no DT's in a 3-4... just a NT and 2 DE's.... but your lineup of CC, DT, And DR still works...

No NT's in a 4-3 either...but we could still go Campbell, Tomlinson, Nolen, Robinson...with Sweat and Burch outside

Some call them DEs some call them DTs. It's just semantics.

Collier will probably back up CC and DR and guessing the lowest snap count of any DL. Jones is the only player that is somewhat capable of backing up Tomlinson. He played sorta that role (same role, different scheme) in Chicago and was decent.
