Yeah, he was something else that year. I definitely had no problem with him winning it over a traditional Heisman guy like Manning.

The biggest joke of a winner on this list was Gino Torreta.

Indeed he was, but he was dumber than a bag of hammers, and had a HUGE coke problem. When he was in college at Cal, an assistant coach drove him to his classes and waited outside - it was the only way they could be sure he would attend. But sure was one helluva talent on the field.
