So I decided to look at the next season opponents to see if Carolina was on there. Sure enough they are.

This is possibly the craziest and hardest home schedule I have ever seen.

Home:

49ers
Rams
Seahawks
Saints
Bucs
Chiefs
Chargers
Bills (if we stay in first and they do as well)
Cowboys (as above)

All tough games and with the way we play at home

Recipe for disaster?

Or an opportunity to prove we are contenders?

The road schedule isn't too bad save:

At Green Bay

Also

Carolina
Denver
Las Vegas
Atlanta
NFC West

And away games vs Falcons, Panthers, Broncos, Raiders, NFC West + NFC North TBD

To be fair, there was a lot folks nervous about our first half of the schedule this year. Especially with TEN, LA, CLE, & SF all on the road. Look at how that turned out.

I don’t think Russell & possibly Pete will be in Seattle next year. I believe we’re going to have SF’s number for a minute. Think New Orleans will be in a full transition year. Chargers are a lesser version of us. Chiefs…well…need a roster turnover.

I think the Rams, Cowboys, & Bucs(unless Brady retires) are the only teams you can pencil in as extremely challenging next year.

Many things can change that may make the schedule easier than it does now. The Packers could be without Aaron Rodgers, Brady is throwing lots of interceptions now, Chargers are falling apart, the Saints don't really have a decent qb, and so on.

Things can also change to make it more difficult - will Kyler be healthy?

Yea I also forgot about Aaron most likely not being in GB.

How quick does Bruce jump ship once Brady is done. Reminds me of when Al Czervik " breaks his arm" in caddyshack.

I like your enthusiasm

Too bad I don't feel that way

Please Cardinals prove me wrong!
Oh, I wouldn't bet on it.

But I am also not going to write us off as having to "prove" anything next year while we still have the best record in the NFL.
