That title is really misleading. This is from the same article.

Peterson told SI last week that he was "completely healthy," and that his collarbone injury had suffered no setbacks during the course of his rehabilitation. Peterson underwent a re-check from NFL medical personnel earlier this month at which time the status of his recovery was forwarded to NFL teams. That is a common step in the league's medical evaluation process for draft prospects with injury concerns discovered at the combine.

This sounds like a typical story that's exaggerated to make things look worse than they really are in order to make a player drop in the draft. It's very interesting that this story would come out 3 days before the draft, especially when they were saying that he re-injured the collarbone 3 1/2 months ago. This seems like a very minor situation and if a team really likes Peterson, this story should not sway them away from picking him.

I bet the Bills and the Packers paid someone to float this rumor so they had a shot at AP and don't have to stretch and pick Marshawn Lynch early.
