Arvel Reese would be sooo a Monti pick.
I don’t know about that. I think it would be the opposite of that considering Monti has gone premium-positions in the first round since he has been here.

I guess I should have said it would be a Keimy pick. "He plays multiple positions but doesn't have one main one? Perfect!"

This are still my top 3- where we take them could potentially change.
I would love a trade down and still get these guys but who wants to trade up/for what?
The only thing I can think of is someone wanting to get ahead of Titans for a WR

Just give me a pro bowl player.

I'm to the point I just want a Big John at almost any position. Maybe not safety.

We are so desperate for a QB solution, I feel we HAVE TO take a flyer on Simpson. He was lights out during the early part of the year, hurt his back a bit, and looked like Josh Rosen the second half of the year. Let him sit nehind Brissett and learn. Take the flyer and hope the back thing isn’t a chronic issue.

Short list as of right now for 3

QB - Mendoza
QB - Moore
QB - Simpson
EDGE - David Bailey
EDGE - Arvell Reese
OT - Francis Mauigoa

maybe...depending on the HC and DC and some other things...Keldric Faulk.

I watch Houston and think that with a guy like David Bailey or Arvell Reese to pair with Josh Sweat...that could be the AZ defensive identity.

Are you saying that you'd take Mendoza, Moore or Simpson over Bailey, Reese or Mauigoa? I'd definitely take Mendoza or Moore over the others, but taking Simpson is a tough choice at this point.

Not necessarily. I think they are all viable options at 3. Some of the QB stuff for me will depend on the HC. staff, and FA.

Please stop the Arvell Reese Isaiah Simmons comps. They are not even close to the same type of player. Sonny Styles is a Simmons comp. Simmons could be used at safety and was supposedly pretty good in coverage. Neither of those are qualities of Reese. The best comp for Reese is probably Travon Walker. Or, GULP, a talented Zaven Collins with playmaking ability.

Hopefully whatever team drafts Reese has some idea where and how to play him. And then actually plays him.

No way Jose! Simpson should not be on that list, period. Moore? Eh, fine, because we are pretty desperate, but not Simpson. Yes to Bailey and the OT. I get why you might want to include Reese, but he's a hard no for me. I'd add Love and, damn it, the damn safety, because the top of this draft stinks.

I was going to lambast you until Collins. Even then, you're wearing your "an" OSU glasses here. "A talented...with playmaking ability." Your words are painting him as a no-miss prospect. He is an extremely high risk prospect. Low floor, high ceiling. We need much, MUCh more of a sure thing than Reese.
