I was going to lambast you until Collins. Even then, you're wearing your "an" OSU glasses here. "A talented...with playmaking ability." Your words are painting him as a no-miss prospect. He is an extremely high risk prospect. Low floor, high ceiling. We need much, MUCh more of a sure thing than Reese.
I've never said I want Reese at 3.

No way Jose! Simpson should not be on that list, period. Moore? Eh, fine, because we are pretty desperate, but not Simpson. Yes to Bailey and the OT. I get why you might want to include Reese, but he's a hard no for me. I'd add Love and, damn it, the damn safety, because the top of this draft stinks.
Maybe we can find a guy like Purdy in the 7th round.

Or Brady in the sixth. My favorite QB, besides the Indiana guy is the under sized QB from Vandy. He's tough as hell and a VG runner. But, I'm sure AZ won't go for a QB under six foot.

I don’t get why you’re fine with Moore, but not Simpson.

This same mindset got us Levi Brown.
I’m not saying we should, I’m saying Monte and Mike are desperate enough to do it.

And I remember the Brown instead of Peterson pick. It was the last time I went to a draft party at State Farm Stadium. I was standing next to Ron Rolfley and being a huge Sooner fan, I was ecstatic talking while to Ron when it was our pick. He was holding his hand up to me while in his head set and he was like wait what we’re taking who? He was just as floored at the pick.

Plenty of us on here were against drafting Marv vs trading that pick for a haul. Didn't like his pre-draft attitude, etc.
Not sure I would use the term "plenty" I remember you and I saying trade back and take Odunze. Us mostly getting roasted for it saying by a majority that MHJ was THE man and basically a sure fire "big John" get.

Please stop the Arvell Reese Isaiah Simmons comps. They are not even close to the same type of player. Sonny Styles is a Simmons comp. Simmons could be used at safety and was supposedly pretty good in coverage. Neither of those are qualities of Reese. The best comp for Reese is probably Travon Walker. Or, GULP, a talented Zaven Collins with playmaking ability.
The concern is more that the most effective player typically focus on one position. The PFF data seems to support that.

I'm not truly fine with Moore. I guess I'd couch it like this: He's a risk that I guess I'd be willing to take.
And dude reached THAT AGE and still only has like what?? Five starts?? Or some ridiculously low number...
Rather have a 21 year old with 15 or so more starts.

We need to stop freaking out that there is nobody worth taking with the 3rd pick.
We need to stop thinking need and focus on the best player.
If Caleb Downs is the next Troy Palamulo would we be upset?
Kevin Faulk looks like a winner.

There are players in this draft that can step in next year and start. We will have a better idea and a total reevaluation of all these guys after the combine.
