I'd run to the table and give them 3 firsts in a heartbeat for Burrow. Can't see why they would give up on him though. I know he hasn't always been available but he's top 5 at the position IMO.
He would be the homerun pick if available. A legit MVP level QB.

Right now he’s forth on most projections. I’m thinking late first, early second round. Lots of games to play to be definitive. Big time skills, but undisciplined. Tends to be erratic, but considered a top developmental target because of raw skills.
Thanks for the info

Cromulent? Did you have professor k9 for English?
A perfect example of the genius of Simpsons seasons 1-10.

Where will he be drafted in your opinion?

And why him?
I think Sellers is a mid first guy. He has great size. Seems like a very coachable kid. Operates like he wants to be a pocket QB. Does have some athleticism. Has faced a lot of good competition. He might transfer somewhere but he has a nice blend of tools.

He is really raw tho. Reminds me a little of JJ McCarthy coming out without the winning. I think he projects like CJ Stroud but has not had as good of coaching and has not been as productive.

Bleacher Report released an article today by Moe Moton projecting compensation for Kyler to be multiple future first-rounders.

I'm not sure what crack he is smoking, but I would like some.
I think it was last season Cowherd speculated 2 firsts.

McShay on his pod said that Oregon and Dante Moore’s camp are in lock step about him returning next year. He predicts Sellers transfers but that could change but expects him back in college for another year.

There will not likely be more than 3 QBs worth a top 6 pick or even top 10. Most of the teams you’ve listed have multiple major needs. They won’t reach and ignore those needs. They might trade down and be something of a problem. The Cards pick is likely to be at around 12. Beyond RT they have no other major needs and that may be solve able via FA or trade. At 12 they would have a shot at several interesting QB options who would not be immediate starters. The trick is can they guess which one is the right one?
How about this. The Jets or Saints swaps 1st round pick with us. We move up, they get a quarterback and keep their 1st round pick.
Basically we trade Kyler to move up 8-9 spots and get our QB.

The ideal scenario would be to trade Kyler to a team ahead of us in draft order for their 1st and a 4th. This is assuming JB pans out as QB1 the rest of the season. He’s looked darn good so far. The ball is going downfield, especially to Harrison, who looked like an All-Pro against Dallas. With the higher No. 1, take a QB; take a OL guy with the second No. 1. This could set the cards up for years. I think the Cards might also think about trading Darius Robinson, who has been a major disappointment so far. With Nolen’s arrival, Robinson’s future looks dim. Could a trade that includes Kyle and Robinson get you a No. 2 or 3 pick?

I’d do that but Jets certainly wouldn’t. I think it’s a long shot for the Saints as well, but it never hurts to ask.

So if Kyler has played his last game, what’s the strategy for next year? Draft a qb and roll with Brissett as a bridge QB for one more year?

The free agent class is weak. There are no Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones of the world coming available. The only one somewhat intriguing is Mac Jones. If you are really desperate, there’s Trey Lance.

It seems like they will have to draft a qb, and by my estimations there are at least 4 teams who would take a qb if their guy is there before we’re on the clock:

1. Saints
2. Jets
3. Miami?
4. Browns?
5. Raiders?
6. Rams?

Honestly, Cards may be screwed at the position for a couple seasons.

Then they get a quarterback and the Ohio state edge….

The idea of sending Kyler to the Jets or Saints to move up feels somewhat realistic. I’m just not sure about the contract negotiations…The Cards might have to eat some of it to make that kind of deal work. But that is intriguing.

I’m spit-balling but Cards would have to maybe give up some other picks to make it work, like a 2nd rd pick in 2026 and 2nd rd pick in 2027.

Jake Browning looked really good last year in place of Burrow. Not so much this year. So who is the real Jake Browning? Burrow for what he has to be paid is too injury prone and Bidwill will still be paying Murray.

I could be up for that. Send Kyler and a 2nd to move up in the 1st to snag a QBoF. If one is really there.
