It's right forearm tightness for Weaver.

Edit:

You heard it here. Three times. :)

Better more news than none.

Looking good great to see the offense clicking

Be sweet revenge to sweep the giants after they swept us at home recently

I am salivating at the prospect of a starting rotation of five dependable pitchers.

I think we have the horses on the roster and in the Minors to do it before too long.

And, as previously mentioned, shoring up the 7th and 8th inning relievers, and the
D-backs (with their solid, though not spectacular, lineup).

Just when we thought their fighting for 1st place was a lost cause, there is hope.

Walker made a nice play to smother the ground ball,
then fumbled it and the it's 6-2 with one out in the
bottom of the 7th.

Yoshi is in the bullpen. We need all the lead we can
get.

And Yoshi comes in with two outs to face Posey
and gets an inning ending force out.

Looking ahead, the D-backs open a 4-game series in Colorado tomorrow.
A day game, followed by three night games Tue. through Thu.

Then home for the Mets and Dodgers, before going back on the road.

Swihart had the fly ball in LF, but in the top of his mitt
and lost it. It will be good to see Peralta back, in about
a week, if he is ready when he comes off the DL.

Holland in to close with runners on 2nd & 3rd and 1 out.

And the D-backs sweep the Giants, following being swept by the Padres.

Forearm tightness never seems to be anything but bad news

Patrick Corbin, Shelby Miller and Taijuan Walker's Tommy John surgeries were originally reported as "forearm tightness" in the pitching arm. Expect the worst here.

Why in the world does Swihart continue to get playing time? Just cut him and be done with it. He is a disaster everywhere.

He's a special kind of versatile in his crappiness.

You can't find that everywhere!

Yup. Is it me or so the Dbacks seem to have more TJ issues than any other organization. Might be location bias but I swear it sends like more pitchers undergo TJ with the Dbacks

Marte proved to be the most consistent over the course of the weekend for the D-backs.

His seven hits were tied for first among the team with shortstop Nick Ahmed, while the second baseman added a home run in each of the three games.

Marte finished the series 7 for 15 with three homers, a triple and six RBI.

He’s now up to 12 home runs on the season, tied for first on the team with Escobar
