No more head coaches with defensive backgrounds. I’m super passing on them & I don’t care what their defenses looked like on their previous teams.
We say that, but man its tough watching Todd Bowles, Dan Quinn, Mike McDonald and Demeco (when he's not flipping thru OCs) thrive.

Better QBs atm sure. However, its tough when JG invited that as the offensive identity.
I do not want Gannon to have his chance at drafting his own QB because he is going to want to run his QB in a boring, lethargic Kevin Stefanski offense. If Petzing is gone, he is just going to want the next guy with the same philosophy. Do not give him that chance, I don’t care who is our QB next season.
If JG is back I wouldnt mind McDaniel or Slowik as OC.

Get guys actually from the Shanahan tree unlike guys like Petzing.

Outside of Bowles, who has consistently hit on OCs, I’m not sold on any of these dudes long-term.

Slowik? Are you serious?

Grizzard coached under McDaniel, who also coached under Shanahan.

I think Texans fans overreacted to Slowik. That was more about them being wrecked by injuries at WR.

I'll keep an eye on Grizzard, but I dont think Gannon will be gone after this year so Im just focused on OCs.

McCoy was fired after 7 games I believe why hasn’t BPB been fired yet?

But that of course didn't save Wilkes or Rosen my friend.

Firing an OC midseason is bad business. It's a worst case scenario on a lot of levels.

I agree with you and think DP has probably got to go, but firing him now won't save the season.

there are plays in petzing's book he just doesn't call them - he doesn't run the same formations doing different things - if we get an oc with half a brain they don't have to rewrite the constitution but merely pick up the controller and start playing where petzing left off - but doing so much more aggressively and for all 4 quarters

Remember the brash guy who was threatening to gut other teams? What happened to him?

It's really sad that JG came in and stating that he was this and that

Then we see him trying to be nice to the players

He says he holds them accountable, but from what we have seen he doesn't

And he doesn't hold his coaches accountable

It's really hard to try to do that after you try the nice approach

I truly believe he is in danger of losing the team

The vets can see right through him

Giving DeMercado additional carries after his inexcusable TD gaffe sent a strong message to everyone that JG doesn’t hold people accountable.

They ain't going to move on from Kyler AND Petzing. They either thing Kyler is the problem or Petzing is the problem. Can't see a solid argument for moving both.
